Stories
Where It All Began:
Growing up in Bogotรก, Colombia, I was captivated by both the precise logic of electrical engineering and the limitless imagination of storytelling. This dual fascination led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Universidad Nacional de Colombia, where I excelled academically and earned a prestigious scholarship to study at Grenoble INP ENSE3 in France.
Expanding Horizons:
In France, I deepened my expertise in embedded systems, smart grids, and optimization while mastering a third language. My passion for solving real-world challenges drove me to contribute to international research projectsโfrom designing high-voltage prototypes for Airbus to support management of medium voltage devices at Schneider Electric. Along the way, I gained valuable experience working with global, multidisciplinary teams.

Today, as a Software Developer, I develop real-time decision-support platforms that strengthen distributed systems and ensure resilient infrastructure. My work, recognized by former NASA astronaut Leroy Chiao, exemplifies the critical role of real-time data monitoring in high-stakes operationsโa connection that continues to fuel my commitment to innovation.
A Global Leader in Education and Community Impact:
Beyond engineering, I am dedicated to empowering others. As a leader in IEEE Young Professionals Colombia and a member of the IEEE Robotics and Automation Society, Iโve organized workshops on artificial intelligence, IoT, and robotics. As an international camp counselor with the YMCA, Iโve led cultural programs in Colombia, the USA, and Germany, nurturing resilience, creativity, and teamwork in young leaders. And through my YouTube channel “El Dibujante”, Iโve built a global community of over 86,000 art enthusiasts, proving that education can be as inspiring as it is impactful.
